ABOUT

Brandon Clark & The American Standard formed in January of 2009 when four friends came together and Brandon Clark kissed his solo singer/songwriter career goodbye.

Previously called ‘Brandon Clark & The B-Sides’ — Brandon Clark & The American Standard is a band straight out of Altanta, Georgia bent on combining insightful lyrics with passion, original melodies, soulful vocals, and high energy.

The band got together originally to play Brandon’s previously released music, but it wasn’t long before everyone in the band realized that they wanted something more. Their sound was evolving and new material started to take form. It wasn’t just about one man and a band anymore — it was about doing something bigger. That’s when Brandon Clark & The American Standard was formed.

Though the band is recently formed– these four gentlemen are no strangers to performing.

Paul Lynch is an explosive guitarist and has spent many of the past years in bands and filling in for all types of groups. He takes pride not only in performing and writing, but also running and recording sound. When he’s not driving the band to embrace their rock nature– he’s a whirling force of guitar and hair. Just like the rock gods of old.

Chris Zeigler is a virtually unstoppable bass force, When he’s not playing rock music– he’s whipping out the double bass to fill in for jazz trios throughout the Atlanta area. After studying music and jazz bass for the past few years in college– he decided to try something new and put his heart and soul into Brandon Clark & The American Standard.

Paul Hedges, the oldest, wisest and most rhythmically accomplished in the group and is no freshman when it comes to being in bands. He and Brandon first met many years ago when he played in a band called To Be Announced. Since then he has formed several variations of groups– even performing solo. Hedges is not only an incredible drummer but an excellent songwriter and multi-instrumentalist as well.

Brandon Clark has been writing, recording, and performing music for the past five years. It wasn’t until he learned to play guitar in 2003 that he started writing his own music, but ever since then the songs have been pouring out. When he’s not listening/recording/writing/performing music– he’s probably doing freelance design for someone in the Metro Atlanta area.
